There are 100 trillion good bacteria inside the digestive tract, living in perfect balance. Once ingested, to exert their effect, microorganisms need to survive the harsh environment in the upper GI tract and colonize in the lower intestines and colon. Many environmental factors - like diet, stress, smoking, or lifestyle and seasonal changes - may disturb the balance of gut flora, but most aggressive of all are antibiotics. Good bacteria strains in our formula are selected for their resilience in the harsh conditions that may occasionally occur in the GI tract. All bacterial strains in our formula are well-studied for scientifically documented function.
14 strains formula
Supreme Microbiom is made with 14 scientifically studied strains of live cultures, specially designed to deliver good bacteria, combined with vitamin B complex and fibres. The strains in Supreme Microbiom divide quickly and double their mass at approximately 20-minute intervals.
100 Billion CFU in daily dose
The dose of friendly bacteria consumed is one of the most important factors for the rapid colonization of the digestive tract. According to ESPGHAN (European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition), the effect of good bacteria is dose-dependent, i.e. the effect is more pronounced when the number of viable good bacteria (colony-forming unit - CFU) is higher.
Strain selection of a friendly bacteria formula is another important factor affecting its quality.
Supreme Microbiom has been designed to provide a daily dose of 100 billion live cultures in compliance with the latest scientific requirements for strain dose, as well as ensuring strain variety and quality.
The capsule
The capsule is gastro-resistant, and does not dissolve in the stomach and duodenum, protecting the good bacteria from damaging gastric acids and bile. It’s designed to dissolve in the initial part of the small intestine, delivering the bacteria strains in a friendly environment where they begin to multiply.
Supreme Microbiom is manufactured in Bulgaria,
the homeland of good bacteria, where the first Lactobacillus was discovered.
B vitamins are water-soluble vitamins that play an important role in many physiological processes. Numerous studies have highlighted their unconditional connection to human life.
B vitamins are water-soluble vitamins that play an important role in many physiological processes. Numerous studies have highlighted their unconditional connection to human life:
• Vitamin B6 and B2 are responsible for maintenance of normal of red blood cells
• Folic acid and vitamin B6 are key factors in maintaining healthy immune system
• Biotin contributes to normal metabolism
• B vitamins (like biotin, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, pyridoxine) are vital for converting food into cellular energy
B vitamins are easily obtained through a variety of food, but the gut microbiota is probably the most reliable source, as it can synthesize different B vitamins (including biotin, cobalamin, folates, nicotinic acid, panthotenic acid, pyridoxine, riboflavin, and thiamine). However, when there are occasional disruptions of the balanced state of gut microflora, the synthesis of vitamins B is also disrupted; this is when it’s important to supplement additional B vitamins in the diet.
Soluble fibres are complex carbohydrates (oligosaccharides) that serve as food for the good bacteria that live in the intestines, as well as for supplemented friendly bacteria.
Soluble fibres are complex carbohydrates (oligosaccharides) that serve as food for the good bacteria that live in the intestines, as well as for supplemented friendly bacteria.
These special types of dietary fibre feed the good bacteria strains in the gut. Supreme Microbiom contains a soluble fibre blend consisting of three different types of oligosaccharides - FOS, XOS and MOS - specially selected to meet the needs of those bacterial strains included in our formula and assist them to start dividing rapidly.
Bacillus coagulans is a spore forming microorganism. This probiotic is extremely hardy and can easily survive stomach acid to colonize the entire GI tract, thereby better providing targeted support to the intestine and maintaining balance in the microbiome.*
Bacillus coagulans was first isolated from spoiled milk in1915 by B.W. Hammer, at the Iowa Agricultural Experiment Station in the United States of America. A spore-forming bacterium, it’s able to produce lactic acid and various metabolites.
With the ability to form spores, the bacterial species Bacillus coagulans is resistant to extreme conditions and antibiotics. It survives the acidic gastric juice and bile acids in the duodenum while passing through the GI tract, and safely reaches the lower intestines and colon, where it divides quickly to colonize the gut.
Bifidobacteria are y-shaped bacteria, and the first microbes to colonize the human gastrointestinal tract, producing a range of valuable nutrients, including short chain fatty acids and vitamins. Researchers have identified more than 50 species of bifidobacterium, with different functions.

Bifidobacterium strains of human origin are also capable of synthesizing essential vitamins (like K2) and certain B vitamins (like thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, folic acid, biotin, and nicotinic acid).
The bifidobacteria strains (B. breve, B. longum ssp infantis, B. longum, B. bifidum and B. lactis) are among the most well-studied Bifido strains used in food supplements.
Lactobacilli are a large genus of friendly bacteria that normally inhabit the gastrointestinal tract. An important part of the microbial ecosystem in the colon, they produce substances and metabolites like bacteriocins, hydrogen peroxide and organic acids (such as lactic acid), which is mainly fermented to butyrate, the key nutrient for the epithelial cells of the gut mucosa.

Lactobacilli are one of the most-widely used good bacteria in food supplements. They have a high tolerance to gastric acid and bile, and a capability to adhere to intestinal surfaces. Supreme Microbiom contains a total of 7 strains of Lactobacilli, which contribute to the formula’s strain diversity. They are well- studied, and some come with the highest level of recommendation by the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) and World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO).
Saccharomyces boulardii is a live yeast named after Henri Boulard, the scientist who first isolated it from lychee and mangosteen fruit in 1920. Clinical studies demonstrate the multiple mechanisms of action of this unique microorganism, with its resistance to digestion. It survives gastric acidity and colonizes the intestinal tract. S. boulardii produces polyamines and bacteriocins, and studies have shown that it’s naturally resistant to antibiotics, since they don’t interfere with its metabolism.

I recently found this product on the internet and bought a pack to test. I am a big fan of probiotics as I strictly look after my gut health. What I do appreciate in Supreme Microbiom is the diversity of strains – 14 strains including LGG, S. boulardii and many lacto and bifido strains. This product is kind of 3 in 1. It not only contains good bacteria, but also has a blend of 3 prebiotics and a group of B vitamins. The pack says it could be taken alongside antibiotics and I think it could really boost your gut health due to its 100 billion cfu in 2 caps. Happy with my new probiotic.
Not a fan of antibiotics but last month I got one for a week after going to the doctor with burning cystitis. I feel better now but I started reading information about how to recover from urinary infections, and seems I have to take care for my gut health after the antibiotic course. Health has always been a top priority for me and I never compromise the quality of product, especially the ones I put into my body.
This Supreme Microbiom is made with 14 strains, includes both lacto (56 billion cfu) and bifido (38 billion cfu) strains, LGG, B. coagulans, S. boulardii and provides overall 100 billion cfu of good bacteria in 2 caps. It also contains prebiotics which are good for the probiotic strains and on top it has several b vitamins. I can’t think of a better product to support my gut at this moment.
